Lisa Elliott, LCSW
Lisa Elliott (she/her/hers) is a psychotherapist and clinical social worker with experience working with children (age 4+), adolescents, and adults. Her clinical experience includes psychosocial assessment and treatment of a wide range of challenges including: Mood Concerns (Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder); Learning Differences (including ADHD); Adult and Childhood Trauma; Parenting & Family Transitions (including Separation/Divorce); Pregnancy & Postpartum Adjustment & Mood Concerns; Pregnancy & Infant Loss; Relationship difficulties.
Following her graduate studies, Lisa completed a psychotherapy fellowship at Live Oak, a group psychotherapy practice specializing in LGBTQ affirmative, trauma informed, and multicultural practice. She is committed to providing sensitive, strengths-based therapy for individuals of all gender and sexual identities, and is supportive of trans and GNC identified individuals’ pursuit of legal gender marker and name change. She is poly- and kink- positive.
In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Lisa serves as a Perinatal Family Support Specialist at NorthShore University HealthSystem’s Evanston Hospital. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and the National Association for Perinatal Social Workers.
