Yael Hess, LCSW

Yael Hess is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for working with children, adolescents and families. Yael understands the pressures of growing up and the challenges that arise within a family as children reach new developmental stages. She will provide a safe place for each client to explore their emotions. Yael will work with you to create positive ways to cope with daily stressors, reduce negative thoughts and self-doubt, explore trauma history, and build positive family and peer relationships. Yael will help parents navigate parenting stress and increase positive relationships with their child.

Yael also works with adults to handle challenging life transitions and explore relationship and family dynamics. Yael utilizes different therapy approaches to ensure each client receives the services that best fit their needs, including psychotherapy, attachment-therapy, trauma informed therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. She views each client as having the skills within themselves to make a change and uses a strengths-based approach to help clients reach their full potential.
